Peekskill in the Hudson Valley has been our escape during the pandemic. The Inn at the Hudson is a charming motel, and from its upper-floor rooms, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the river and stunning sunsets on most days. Simply relaxing on the balcony and taking in a wider view than just the neighboring walls is refreshing and inspires new thoughts.
Although this remains true to some extent, the magic seems to have faded. It turns out that when your expectations are kept low, finding relief becomes much easier.
